The first solo Racers took off this morning at 7:29 am . Mic Walsh & Larry Denke were smiling and joking as we blew the whistles and gave them a great send off. All 3 vehicles passed inspection and all crews were ready for action bright and early at 6am. The only 2man team, Dave Preston & Chris Ragsdale were cheering as the solo racers departed…… & At 8:02 am Chris started his team off with a FAST start onto the roadway. All 3 teams that departed today are racing for the coveted winners trophies as they embark on a real journey of endurance.
Hammer Nutrition provided gels and electrolites and great stuff in the goodie bags…THANKS to them and all our sponsors who helpped make today a great send off. ON Sunday the RIDERS will line up and take off for their 50 & 100 mile journey to Granite Falls. The 100 mile is an out and back and a beautiful ride in the country.
