Currently the plan is to send out a Glympse Group invite to the crew captain for each racer/relay team at the race start. Glympse will send a link to download the app to your smart phone (works for multiple smartphone platforms including iPhone and Android, and we will make sure each crew successfully completes this step during the vehicle inspection right before the start). This will allow the Race Director and volunteers as well as racer’s crews to follow progress of everyone on the route real-time. A new Glympse Group invite will then be sent out every 4 hours as that is the max time that a glympse can be set for. This app allows you to accept the invite to show your location for the next 4 hours in a single click, keeping tracking/check-in as simple as possible. We will also ask that the crew captain text the arrival time to the Race Director when Loup Loup pass is reached as well as Steven’s Pass.
