Today I witnessed something truly AWESOME….the “Cycle the WAVE” Bike Ride. 1100 smart, sassy, wild women took over the streets of Issaquah and had some fun while raising money for Eastside Domestic Violence. WAVE stands for Women Against Violence Everywhere.
You can go to their website to see more info and photos, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU…. for giving me and others opportunity to volunteer. I got a glimpse of perfection today & what is to come at our 1st inaugural, Coup de Cascades Race and Rides. I had a wonderful time today at the 6:30am registration table and at the 10 am handing out the goodie bags area too. Thanks to the many women I sat next to…you were wonderful. I hope our Coup de Cascades will rival your standards someday.
NOW…it is our turn to shine this next weekend SEPT 24th & 25th. So, CALLING all girly girls, middle sisters and burly girls…you know who you are. We need a WOMEN’s team on the Coup. There’s still time to register online and create your perfect team of 2,4,6,8… Who’s up for a Cascade Challenge??? Do it to help eradicate POLIO in the world…do it for children everywhere who have NO voice.
